Top 5 Reasons To Burn Anthracite Coal!
Cost-Effective - Anthracite is an American-produced, clean-burning, smokeless fuel that's continuously warmer and costs less than other heating options. After switching to anthracite, many homeowners report saving up to 50% on their heating bills while gaining a more healthful and comfortable home.
The high level of BTU's combined with it's even heat flow, makes anthracite the warmest, steadiest, most comfortable heat source available. Call today and ask how to get set up!
Burning Anthracite Coal today is much different than burning coal in the past. Anthracite is used as the number one heat source, its modernized furnace; coal-feeding, and ash-removal systems require little effort to maintain. Heating in a coal stove or fireplace insert, anthracite burns longer without tending than cord wood or wood pellets.
With anthracite coal, the threat of chimney fires is eliminated because the creosote does not build up when coal is burned. With proper installation, a coal burning system carries none of the risks of other fuels.
It is a clean burning fuel because of its low sulfur and volatile content. Anthracite can be used as an alternative to wood because it produces virtually no smoke or particulates (a major problem with wood). Anthracite's low sulfur content makes it cleaner than electricity, which is generated primarily from burning high-sulfur bituminous coal. All anthracite is mined from previously abandoned mines which are then restored.
